Brown spider in my car how should I get it out?
I just got a new car and I found a brown spider with a stripe in it’s center. I got a napkin and it started jumping and i’m not sure if I got it out because it was on the door sill and I tried sweeping it off. It wasn’t a really big spider but i’m worried if its one of those recluse spiders. Do recluse spiders jump at all? I also want to be sure the spider still isn’t in my car how should I kill it if it’s still inside?

Brown recluse spiders have a violin shaped mark. There is a very common harmless spider that has a stripe in the center, and that spider is more of a jumper because it doesn’t spend all its time in a web. If it is hot outside and you left the windows rolled up it may already be dead after sitting in the sun 24 hours. For peace of mind before you drive take an index card and brush it over your car’s interior surface to dislodge it. Don’t use some thing soft like a napkin, that is not necessarily strong enough to move it. Look for a picture of the brown recluse by search " Brown Recluse Spider picture".

Is there something else I can feed my Plecostomus (Sucker)?
I have a Plecostomus with 3 goldfish in a 20 gallon tank.
I bought some algae tablets to be sure that the sucker is getting enough to eat, but I discovered that it’s not getting to the tablets, the gold fish, go nuts over it and devour it.

It raised 2 concerns:
1- The gold fish are eating too much.
2- The Sucker may not be getting proper rations.

Is there something else I could feed the sucker, which the goldfish might not devour?

heres the trick, plecos are nocturnal, so after you turn your lights off for the night, wait about a half hour, break the algea or even veggie tablet into two pieces and drop them in the tank, dont turn the light on to do it, the pleco will find it, another thing that works for me is a veggie clip, sold at local pet shops, suctions to the side of the glass, and you can stick cucumber, zucchinni, lettuce, carrots, anything in there, also if you want to keep your pleco happy do the same thing, lights off, wait a half hour, and drop a piece of zucchinni in the tank,

Your pleco shouldn’t even be in that tank. Common plecos need a 55 gallon tank. Even the smaller varieties need at least a 30. On top of that, plecos and goldfish should not be housed together anyways. One reason you are wtnessing firsthand; goldfish are greedy eaters and plecos kept with them often starve to death. Plecos also prefer warmer water than goldfish. Finally, plecos love the slime coat that goldfish produce and have been known to cause injury to goldfish on more than one occasion. And just to make things even better, even your 3 goldfish are overstocking your tank. Your tank is the MINIMUM size for ONE fancy goldfish. Worry less about getting the pleco new food and more about getting your fish new homes. All four of these fish are very long living fish, but yours will probably not even make it to half of their life expectancy in that setup. (Average goldfish lifespan: 15-20 years; average pleco lifespan: 10-15 years)

All of those fish poop A LOT and a 20 gallon can’t handle it. The pleco is also a tropical fish and is not a suitable tank mate for the coldwater goldfish. A 20 gallon is big enough for ONE SINGLE FANCY GOLDFISH. You really need to do some research before buying pets.

i remember there was a horror movie i saw when i was younger, but cant for the life of me remember the name. 1. We still don’t know the whole story. As with many world stories, I like to hear both sides.
2. Try as they may, those "Christians" don’t even come close to being the big operation that Haiti’s government has. It has been no secret that Haiti’s government has a child black market going on. That’s why people have been so touchy about the subject.
3. They never said that every child was an orphan nor that every child was going to be up for adoption. They pointed out a fact,… that their facilities in the Dominican Republic were much less crowded and that the children had a better chance at getting food, water, and medical supplies.
4. I have yet to see any of the families say "Oh my, they stole my child!". Sure, they were happy to see their children and angry when they were told that their children were "taken". But at the same time, some of the parents seemed to back the story of the churches. Some said that they had sent their children with that group so that they would get food, water, and medical supplies.
5. This whole ordeal may come down to incorrect paperwork. If you take a minor across state lines (a felony in the U.S.) without the proper paperwork, are you automatically kidnapping a child?

I have experience with such an issue in Guatemala, another major corrupt nation. People there have literaly killed Americans for talking to a child (imagine my fear when a stranger asked me to hold her child on a bus once). One woman was held in prison, for her own protection, when she was accused of trying to kidnap children. She was innocent, but the locals overran the jail and beat her into a vegetable. They never cared to listen to her side of the story, not even to the child.

They likely truly had the best of intentions, in their own messed up little minds. They were planning on taking care of the children, just as they said. They did, however, have another motive. There is nothing a Christian loves better than the thought of removing a child from a "godless" environment and putting them in 24/7 church, which was exactly their intention, I’m sure. It’s still slimy as hell, but they likely didn’t intend that actual harm come to the children. They were just trying to convert them before they became capable of rational thought. The earlier you expose a child to a given religion the more likely that child will be to remain that religion. They were looking to expand their churches in the area.

By the way, if you actually kept up with this story you would know that NOT ALL children were "found alone". Many were given by their parents with the promise of a better life than the parents could provide. I have read nothing about adoption. They were going to an orphanage.

You might want to check your facts. CNN interviewed the parents who said they gave their children to this group because they could not provide for the children. These were laypeople from a Baptist church who should not have tried to go down there and attempt something that is complicated even for veteran aid workers and missionaries to do–navigate through a country’s legal system when children are involved.

And you have already condemned them before they even have a trial; do you and the people agreeing with you care about these children or are you just gleeful at the idea of these people going to prison? they had a 16 yr old girl with them and didn’t look like a crime ring. maybe charge them with not filing the proper beauracracy. which maybe beauracracy is useful, they wouldn’t have taken the wrong kids and things would have worked smoothly. However immediatly after the earth quake the haitian government was nowhere to be seen. it was up to the haitian people to rebuild and whatever disorganized aid workers. Just the logistics of all these aid workers rushing in. no one knows where to go, what to do. Like at any airport normally competent people don’t know whats happening or what they’re doing. Still it was dumb to try and take kids out of the country with no ones permission. although it’s said they had permission from sometype of authority in DR. Some token punishment but unless they were up to no good i wouldn’t be too harsh. My verdict is 3 months work on haiti restoration. have them out there clearing concrete from roads. they hoped to (I hope rescue) some kids and be back home in indiana feeling good about the haitians they had in the guest house. give them 3 months in haiti, work at an orphanage, take care of some kids there, learn how the business works, it’s punishment and that’ll teach them, living there can’t be much fun now.
