Should I cut off new shoots of a honey locust?
I have new honey locust trees that I planted last fall. They are only a little over 7 feet tall, not very mature at all. Should I cut off the new shoots on the trunk? How do I know how low down on trunk I should let new shoots grow, etc., or do I just cut off all new shoots?
You talking about those little fuzzies that appear? Actually they may be helpful to the tree if you don’t let them become branches. In a young tree these sprouts will help develop trunk width faster. Let them grow a season then remove during dormancy. Don’t let them grow more than a season least they think they are branches and you have a bit of a "discussion" with them.
Of course if you need lateral branches, then you must let some develop, but you’ll probably only need 7-10 or so good strong, well spaced later branches. All those fuzzies aren’t needed.
In a bigger tree, say 12 feet tall or more, I would remove them as they appear. They are not needed…….usually. .
If you want one to become a branch…….for whatever reason, it should not be lower than 8 feet from the ground. This allows head room under the branch…..remembering it gets wider as it ages. So since your current tree is only 7 feet tall, let’s get some vertical growth before we start worrying about lateral branches.

december 21 2012 the end of it all?
So as we all know people are saying the end of the world will be on december 21 2012. do you think this is true because if you dont leave something telling me why when it will end and how. Me personaly i dont think its true i think an astroid, solar flair( what happend in the movie knowing) or a supernova will kill the earth and it will happen in 2000 years or so
December/21/2012 is not the end of the world. First the Mayan calendar does not end on December 21 2012 it just goes into another period. Also people thought it would be May 2003 but we are still here aren’t we. Also NASA said for a planet or a meteor to hit us in 3 years is impossible (unless god really hates us lol) The world will either in 4 billion years when the sun keeps expanding from nuclear fusion and touching Earth and destroying it. Or a huge asteroid like the one that killed the dinosaurs will hit us in about a couple of billion years… Or maybe you are right and a supernova or a solar flair will destroy the earth…. You will have to wait and see… if you live that long…
Kingy401 | Nov 17, 2009
It will not end in 2012 because there is no evidence to support it will end, at all. Zero. It’s a story, a fiction of the Mayan people and their calendar.
Our planet will be destroyed (completely or significantly) in one of two ways:
1. When our sun burns through it’s hydrogen fuel in about 5 billion years, it will begin to expand out to about Earth’s orbit. By that time, Earth will be devoid of life, water and everything else. The sun may indeed envelop the planet completely, or if not, will be destroyed when the sun collapses and explodes. This will happen and this WILL be the end of the planet.
2. A very large rock from space hits the planet sufficient to destroy it. This could happen at any time really, and we may not see it coming. The chances are low, but big rocks hit planets all the time.

The world will not end in 2012. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you something.
Bradley | Nov 17, 2009
nothing in sight for about 800 years. there is some question about an object whose orbit may be a threat in about 800 years. i can,t remember what asteroid it was. i will find out. even apophis has been downgraded. i,m not looking for any impacts, but i think there,s a planetary society program to plant a transponder on apophis to accurately track its approach to earth. they,ve even had a design for a number of spacecraft for this project. i don,t worry about 2012. i saw, and enjoyed the movie. the 50,s sci fi flick"when worlds collide" is actually more scientifically accurate by far than "2012". it,s dated, but still an excellent movie.
David | Nov 17, 2009
People prefer believing supernovas and the like will blow us all to hell in 2,000 years or more. We’re more comfortable in believing such things will happen long AFTER our lifetimes.
Nostradamus really didn’t spend a lot of time worrying about the end of the world. He figured he’ll be dead 500 years by the time it happens and he was right.
Time goes by. Things happen. History is made and written. Columbus thinks he discovers America but the Vikings beat him by 500 years and there were people that beat the Vikings. Wars are fought and in stead of naming them like ‘The Civil War’ they give them numbers like 1 and 2.
Point is: Our number is coming up.
December 21st 2012 is gonna be total wipeout. The quarterback is gonna get sacked for a 3 point game losing safety. Turn out the lights the party is over. The last picture show. The best little whorehouse in Texas is gonna go outta business.
I dunno how else to say it:
December 21st 2012: IS THE END OF THE WORLD!

Lil Wayne & Eminem Songs?
I Know "Drop The World" off of Rebirth but are there any more songs with lil wayne and eminem ? They are my 2 favorite rappers and love "Drop The World" but can’t find anything else. I know there isn’t on any of his albums but maybe a mixtape ? I have 1,390 lil wayne songs on my itunes (Albums & Mixtapes) Can’t find 1 with both in a song.
Oh and forever…DUH !!! Great grammy performance by the 3 !
Oh and forever…DUH !!! Great grammy performance by the 3 !
They’re both in Forever, but I’m pretty sure outside of mashup’s you won’t find another. Lil’ Wayne had been wanting to do a song with Eminem until Forever & Drop the World, so those are the only two songs they’ve done together.
I think Drake said at the Grammies though that him, Wayne and Em are working on another collabo together before Drake’s album drops.

To forgive cheaters or to teach them another lesson?
The opinions from many readers made me realized things but somehow I wonder - "Why and how come this guy who have not met my wife since they went apart 30 years ago have the guts to seduce my wife and end up having an affair with her hence staining our marriage’? Why did he do it? He had a supportive wife and 2 gorgeous kids, yet he was saying all the bad stuffs about his wife to my wife. Do you readers consider this guy as a born loser? Coward? Heartless? I should grade my wife the same too. She knows it’s going to be a very long journey for her to build back the trust and love after I found out about her affair. Readers, what do you think are the best ways to handle this guy who portrayed to be a perfect gentleman and taught my wife how to leave me. He apologized to me but to me this is not the end of the show. I will wait till he appear again and I may let him taste some pleasant ’surprises’. Should I teach him another good lesson or should I just forgive him and carry on with my life? He is definitely hiding away for now. So readers, let’s see what you have to say. Thank you.
Just let it go. He’s not worth wasting your time on. If you really still love her you need to concentrate on your marriage. Talk to her openly and honestly- find out why she cheated. Really listen to each other. If you both cannot give each other what you both need then consider counseling first (individually if needed and marriage counseling together) and possibly divorce. I don’t like to use the divorce word and I know I’ll catch a bunch of thumbs down for that. But I’m sorry, not all marriages can be saved. If you really do still love each other, you can learn to forgive- you won’t forget of course. Been there, going through it now myself (he cheated), and we are working it out. Hope this helps you but just don’t do anything stupid to that loser that will land you in jail for assault charges! Good luck
Slim's Mom | Jan 23, 2010
no,just leave it alone. what goes around comes around, and in due time he will get his, someone will cheat on him and hurt him the way that he has hurt so many.he’s not worth your time or your energy.
justlisa72 | Jan 23, 2010
"free fuck card" u get to do what you want…or just leave!
tara p | Jan 23, 2010
naw let him go…if he comes around again.then its on…ur problem is with you’re wife…read my post im going through something similar..i know you re pain..and i too stayed with my girl..it is a long road back…trusting her again is gonna be hard….but in time hopefully both our heard will heal…and i wish you all the luck and success with you re relationship that i hope for my own.
brad | Jan 23, 2010
the problem is not with the man but your wife so if you decide to do something it should be with your wife she is the one that stood before god with you not the man so sat down and talk with her and find out why would she put her self in this predicament and yes forgive her and move on because what goes around come around
lowrider | Jan 23, 2010
You cant put all the blame on him…. It takes two. He wasn’t the one who made a commitment to you your wife did. So your focus should now only be on her. You should probably end it with your wife or try to make you marriage stronger. If she was able to fall for an ex that quick who is to say that she wont do it again. There is no excuse for cheating no matter how sorry she felt for him. And I feel for you and what you been through… just dont let something like this cause you to do the same things they did.
Lisa | Jan 23, 2010
Actually cheaters don’t have any feeling for any others and it is the only reason that they could cheat easily. So teach them any lesson is just encouraging him to cheat another person. just tell him that you hate cheaters like him and you don’t believe him anymore for your entire life. Just let him go. self regret is the highest punishment in my point of view. Because no cheater can cheat his own mind and soul…!!

Detective Harvey is seated in the police station, tapping his rough, short cut fingers along the rotted, wooden edge of the old police house desk. His hair is mid-length short but is covered by a worn out detective hat. No other town still use them, but the detective likes the old, rustic-like theme it brought out to the village.

 Lake Placid (1999)
IMDB rating: 5.30
Plot: Lake Placid - Well it would be, but; “somebody said that name was taken.” At least according to the local Sheriff. When a man is eaten alive by an unknown creature, the local Game Warden (Pullman) teams up with a paleontologist (Fonda) from New York to find the beast. Add to the mix an eccentric philanthropist with a penchant for “Crocs” (Platt), and here we go! This quiet, remote lake is suddenly the focus of an intense search for a crocodile with a taste for live animals…and people!

How much is this guitar worth?
How much is this guitar worth?
I have a 1997 fender AMERICAN stratocaster roadhouse with texas special pickups it is lake placid blue with a white pearl pickguard I cant find a price any where or one like it on the internet does any one know what it is worth?
I couldn’t find a price for you but as always the real value is what an enthusiast will be prepared to pay.Probably the best palce for more info is to go to those who know. The fender community, they have members all over the world and someone will clue you up. http://www.fender.com/community/forums/v iewtopic.php?t=27507&view=previous&a mp;sid=281d557356ce6266938dec66d3686eaf and if you do not find out it’s value you’ll enjoy the fellowship.
Ol'grizzler | Dec 17, 2009
Hm… as far as I can tell its probably only worth 80% of the original price. It’s nothing special.
If you’re lucky and find someone whos totally interested (and is part idiotic-noob) then you may be able to get a small profit off it.
1997 fenders - not special unless des.d.

 Clear and Present Danger (1994)
IMDB rating: 6.70
Plot: Based upon the Tom Clancy novel of the same name, Jack Ryan, a CIA analyst, is thrust right in the middle of a power struggle within the Colombian drug cartel after one of the President’s “life long” friends is murdered, apparently in retaliation for stealing money as part of a money laundering scheme for the cartel. Jack is then appointed acting Deputy Director of Intelligence, CIA, upon the terminal illness of Admiral James Greer, former DDI, and quickly gets in over his head due to his political naivete. The situation rapidly deteriorates when some of the presidents men convince the President to conduct covert actions against the cartel, in direct violation of congress. Felix Cortez, the security chief of Ernesto Escobeda, the “victim” of the missing money, is one of the cartel boss’s. Cortez tries to play both sides, appearing to inform Escobeda about the CIA’s involvement in the covert operations against him, while trying to orchestrate a coup to take over the cartel, with Cortez as it’s sole boss. James Cutter, the President’s National Security Advisor, makes his own deal with Cortez, with the Presidents knowledge, and halts communications to the covert troops still in Colombia, through the Deputy Director of Operations, CIA, Robert Ritter. Ryan ends up going to Colombia to rescue the covet ops troops with the help of field agent John Clark, but not before some fence mending between the two, being that Ritter blamed Ryan for the comm outage, with Clark’s men subsequently being captured by Cortez’s mercenaries.
